HARD SKILLS: Programming skills (Python preferred, or MATLAB). Fundamentals of Digital Signal Processing. Maths and probability. Random variables, random vectors, and random signals. Expert-level knowledge is not required, but comfort with variables, loops, and functions is expected.

SOFT SKILLS: Interest and basic knowledge of music and sound. Creativity and interest in content generation. Eagerness to experiment, explore new ideas, and create original content.

Objectives

Introduce the concepts and fundamentals behind generative sound, audio, and signals.

Present and discuss how audio engineering is organised and its key components: Digital Audio Workstations, Audio Repositories, Audio Editing, Audio Presentation, Live Sound.

Foster creativity in the use of AI technologies and the interest in digital signal Processing.

Evidence of the relevance of engineering in AI and explains how it is a profession.

Share knowledge, creations, and ideas in audio engineering.
