This course will provide an introduction to quantum computing through a hackathon. The first half of the week will include two lectures, two tutorials, and a practical exercise in which we will present the basic mathematical theory of quantum computing and provide an introduction to QISKIT, an IBM Python package that allows you to program quantum computers in the cloud.

Afterward, participants will be organized into small teams and will compete to solve the hackathon questions. The competition will take place from Wednesday afternoon to Friday noon. A discussion of the solutions and the competition results will be held on Friday afternoon.
